The T-Mobile Ameo offers combined smartphone and pocket PC functionality. It has a touch sensitive 5" VGA screen and a QWERTY keyboard that can be detached from the main device. The Ameo supports connections to T-Mobile's network at up to 3.5G / HSDPA speeds and runs the Windows Mobile® 5 for Pocket PC Phone operating system.

The Ameo offers a 2 megapixel camera, a built-in GPS receiver with antenna and mapping software, an 8GB internal hard drive and mobile editions of office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and an email client that supports push / instant email delivery services.

Other features include stereo Bluetooth, WLAN connectivity, miniSD memory card slot, TV Out port, 3.5mm headphone socket, dual speakers, voice dialling and video calling via a second, VGA camera. See below for more specs…
