A member of the Walkman® mobile phone family, the Sony Ericsson W960i offers 8Gb of built-in memory, a 3.2 megapixel camera and support for 3G network services including video calling.

The Walkman player comes with Media Manager software and can use SensMe music analysis to create playlists to suit varying moods. The W960i's 8GB of internal memory provides enough room for up to around 8,000 songs, depending upon compression format.

The W960's display offers touchscreen-based handwriting recognition plus touch controls for the music player. For business users, the Sony Ericsson W960i offers mobile email with document editors plus support for other Symbian-based business applications. Other features include auto focus and photo light for the camera, jog dial control, stereo Bluetooth, radio with RDS station display, PC synchronisation and 3D gaming.
