The Nokia N82 offers mobile connections at up to 3.5G / HSDPA speeds plus web browsing and internet calling (VoIP) via WLAN. The phone has a GPS navigation unit, 5 megapixel camera, music player and video calling camera and is compatible with Symbian applications.

The Nokia N82 comes with Nokia satellite navigation software and free access to downloadable maps. The camera has a xenon flash, auto focus, on-board editing and can send photos directly to printers via USB, WLAN or Bluetooth. Advanced settings are available for photos and video recording, the latter offering VGA (640x480) resolution video at 30 frames per second.

The music player delivers 3D stereo effects via built in speakers and Bluetooth stereo audio. A wired stereo headset is included with the N82, which supports memory cards up to 4GB. The N82's other features include email and the ability to share content with TVs, stereos and PCs using WLAN Universal Plug and Play (UPnP). TV out is supported too.
