The Nokia 8800 Arte is a premium design tri-band GSM and 3G mobile phone featuring a sliding keypad cover, 3.2 megapixel camera, music player with flight mode and support for 3G services (excluding video calls). The Nokia 880 Arte is available in Black and Sapphire colour editions.
A light sensor adjusts screen brightness to suit the Nokia 8800 Arte's environment, whilst living wallpapers provide creative lighting effects on a 2 inch, 16.7m colour screen. In idle mode, a tap on the 8800 Arte's screen causes a clock to be displayed immediately. Similarly, alarms and ringtones announcing incoming phone calls can be muted by turning the phone face down.
The camera is equipped with auto-focus, flash, 8x zoom and self timer and can record photos and videos, the latter at 30fps in QVGA resolution. Image and video editors are included. Further features include stereo Bluetooth, PC synchronisation, 3D games, email with attachments and 1GB of user memory. The Nokia 8800 Arte comes boxed with a desk stand and other accessories including a carry case and Bluetooth headset.
