The Nokia 6650 is a flip-style mobile phone supporting network connections at up to 3.5G / HSDPA speeds. The phone includes A-GPS satellite navigation with maps, a 2 megapixel camera and a 16 million colour internal display measuring 2.2". On the outside, the Nokia 6650 has a 262,000 colour caller id screen. The Nokia 6650 is exclusive to T-Mobile in the UK.
The phone's modem can be used to provide mobile broadband for laptops, as well as for web browsing and downloading using the phone itself. The Nokia 6650's flash-equipped camera is on the outside of the flip, so can be used for video calling in addition to taking photos and recording video. Video is captured at 15 frames per second in 240 x 320 pixels resolution.
Other features include a music player, music ring tones, email document viewers and the option to increase memory up to 8GB via a card slot. T-Mobile supplies the Nokia 6650 with a USB cable, standard headset and PC software CD.
