The LG Viewty KU990 is a tablet-style mobile phone (ie not a slider) that uses its 3" touch sensitive screen, buttons (located beneath the display and around the sides) and a jog wheel instead of a traditional keypad. Input methods include handwriting recognition using the supplied stylus.
Its screen aside, the Viewty's other main feature is a 5 megapixel camera that can record video clips as well as take photos. Video recording is supported at 120 frames per second, whilst photos can be taken using manual or automatic focus. LG's camera phone enables low light photography via ISO 800 specs and SmartLight and videos can be uploaded directly to the internet.
The Viewty supports mobile network speeds up to 3G and HSDPA and has a second camera to enable video calling. Further features include an MP3 player, expandable memory, FM radio, email with document viewers, Bluetooth, a pre-loaded game and support for instant messaging. The phone comes with a stereo headset, USB cable, hand strap and PC software suite.
